The access to the nearby island through the sea cum river waters was an added thrill.Palolem Beach is a stretch of white sand at south goa approx 40 kms from madgao city and takes an hour by two wheeler ... it is known for it nigh life and calm waters with palm trees and colorful wooden shacks, the beach faces Canacona Island .... there are boat which take you to a small island called the Butterfly Beach and you get to see few dolphins ... while you reach the beach ....
This beach is a cul the sac one. We took our guests there to have their first look at Goa beaches. They were happy with the shellow waters and the long walk they could have.Palolem beach is located in south goa..You get to hang out on the beach with cows and take boat rides at sundown and send lights into the sky at night... it's just so fun! The beach side restaurants serve a wide variety of Indian and Western Cuisine. During season time its full from Dec to Feb 20 lost of parties are going on Friday and Saturday . Don't forget to hire a boat to see the nearby Cancona island, Honeymoon & Butterfly beaches. Both these beaches are very tough to access from land due to thick jungle & ghats.

2) Wait and catch a seat in any bus running towards South Goa which will drop you at Canacona Bus Stand. These buses keeps on running whole day in every half an hour or hour so chances on not getting is almost nil. The bus fare charge is Rs20 per person.
3) Again take an auto-rickshaw to Palolem Beach that will cost you around Rs40.
